What conflicts mean in an organization

Well, it is definitely important to have an organization as a place of informal education. Within an organization we can learn something we cannot learn from the class. We are taught to solve the problems, communicate and cooperate with various cultural backgrounds partners, and much more. We may also call that organization is a miniature on how we can conduct such governance as regulating, punishing, and justifying for its entire manner. From this simple illustration we might conclude that organization is remarkable institutions. But in another hand, organization is well-known as full conflicts institutions. Some people say that conflicts within an organization are taken for granted.

What we see in IPM, as many other organizations, in spite of his platforms as an organization under non pragmatic-political flag, it will not be able to avoid any conflicts. We have to open our eyes, for instance, when we conduct general leader election in PP IPM, PW IPM, or even in PD IPM, there must be a conflict. Whether a little or a very big conflict.

A conflict is not always disgraceful. Some people believe with a manageable conflict, it does indicate there is an intention to take care about organization among its members. A conflict in electing general leader might be meant as in search of strong leader. That’s why, in positive thought, we recognize any conflicts in IPM should be the reminder that conflict is spices of organization.

In more general, taking a part in organization field is recommendable. When a person expired his or her time in positive doing, the negative one will be minimized. There are many ways to do positive doing, one of these by joining in organization. It is far better than just stay alone, doing nothing, and usually will affect to do negative action.

Let’s land back on IPM from the orbit of Planet Conflict.

IPM as a student organization has an important role to produce critical and constructive-thought students. In addition, it has been proven that many former activists in this organization become well-oriented people who can undoubtedly participate in Indonesia development. They sincerely gave their ability by joining in many NGOs, volunteer, or even turning to be politician.

It was a kind of products organization. It was an advantage by joining in organization. We grew up in conflicts, and conflicts growing us up. A good person is someone who wisely captures the conflicts as recognition.
