Youth Generation of Indonesia

What we get right now from most of Indonesian teenagers that they don’t have any contribution to fill up our liberty, to continue the struggle for upholding the sovereignity that was done by those who sacrifice their life and their wealth, they are our grandfathers and grandmothers—Indonesian heroes. We are as a part of their countryman completely regret this circumstance.
There is no hope, there is no purpose, and there is no aim. They have experienced disorientation and finally completely lost the direction, indeterminate in steping forward. This is happening because the sad factors: marijuana, narcotics, crisis of values, or many other factors actually become the basic problems in which those teenagers don’t have any capability and capacity to run in a recent life or even in the future.
The point of interesting to be pointed out is the teenagers who have being educated as students in such schools or universities, however in a big number experiences idiology erotion. They change their direction onto pragmatically games and in a narrow-minded view point. We need to realise on what should be done as soon as we could.
I’d like to devide my explanation into there levels of explanation. First, I’ll go with question what the nature of youth generation is. Second, reorientation and reconstruction agenda. And the third, the urgency action to do.
First of all,we can state that youth generation is in strategic position to seek a nation developer and be better. Youth people hold a central actor to determine the step of a nation. They are next generation which will continue handling the highest authority in a nation. They will gradually step up in the governance. They will replace every important position in every level. For these ilustrations we can conclude that life and death of a nation in the future is in their hands. When a country has a good quality of its youth generation, automati-cally its future would be well. But otherwise, when a country doesn’t have a good quality of its youth generation, consequently its future would not be well-guaranted.
Second of all, the reason why we need to do reorientation and reconstruction for our teenagers because of their crisis of values. Hipotetically we can see many problem indicators of Indonesian teenagers. Those are like unemployement which some of its ascort to criminal. Besides, many teenagers consumpt the narcotics which actually bring many bad impact. But, the most influenced is the changing of their way of thinking into pragmatic principle. Those problems must be the cause of values crisis. So as why, we need to reconstruct and reorient their quality.
We have the clear purposes for this agenda. First, we want to make them aware of the importance of good conduct teenagers. It is because they are the first holder of relay race after regenaration proces. That’s why we had better to prepare their quality in order to be ready when achieving responsibility. Second, make their direction and their personality natured after distorting into something destructif. Third, to achieve the teenagers who responsive and creative toward objectif alteration and clear in taking steps.
However, actually the effort not only upon youth people side but also from the goverment and the parents’. But I’m writing as a youth here. So it’s apropriate for me to take teenager view point and what I’m telling to you is what should be done by youth people.
Firstly, we have to learn on how difficult to get a sovereignity. It takes a long time with blood and tears. It needed good cooperation among the people. By learning this, I believe that our youth will concious on how they should take a role to this nation. Secondly, insist our friends to not waste of time by doing something useless which is not future oriented. Thirdly, say no to drugs. Don’t sacrifice our ability of thingking big by consuming this. Besides those, there are many other efforts that can be done. We hope Indonesia is growing better, and we have a big role and responsibility.
